KATHUA, 05 FEB: In its drive against the drugs & its propagators, J&K Police Kathua under the overall supervision of *SSP Kathua Ms. Mohita Sharma -IPS* seized approx. *07 grams* of Heroin like narcotics & 01 Drug peddler was arrested in the jurisdictional area of P/S Kathua.
On 04.02.2026, the police team led by SHO PS Kathua Insp. Ashish Sharma under the guidance of *Addl. SP Kathua Sh. Rahul Charak JKPS & DySP Hqrs. Kathua Sh. Ravinder Singh* during patrolling in its jurisdictional area apprehended one person enrouted under suspicious circumstances. During further questioning, he disclosed his name as *Sahil Dogra @Samundar R/o Ward No. 08 Kathua Tehsil & District Kathua.* On thorough checking approx. 07 grams of Heroin-like substance recovered from his possession got seized and the said accused person got arrested. Accordingly, a *Case FIR No. 68/2026 U/S 8/21/22/ NDPS Act registered at PS Kathua* and further investigation in the case is going on.
