JAMMU : The 5th Jammu District Yogasana Championship for the year 2024-25 was successfully organized by the Jammu District Yogasana Association at the Indoor Stadium, Bhagwati Nagar, Jammu. Sponsored by the Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council, the championship witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across various schools and colleges in the district.
The event commenced with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony, inaugurated by the esteemed Ritika balloria,Zoha Barkat,Sanjeev Pandey,Ankit Bali, Sandeep khajuria,Manik,lokesh Sharma & Aman Gupta (Founder -Inara).The dignitaries praised the significance of yoga and its positive impact on physical and mental well-being.
The medal and certificate distribution ceremony was presided over by the Chief Guest Vasu Aggarwal (DYSP) & Kanuj Gupta , in the presence of Mr. Sanjeev Kumar, President of the Association, and Secretary Zoha Barkat, along with other members of the Jammu District Yogasana Association. In his address, the Chief Guest emphasized the transformative power of yoga, stating, “Yoga doesn’t just impact your health mentally but also physically. It brings greater clarity in life and helps in achieving self-understanding.”
The competition was officiated by experienced officials from the association, ensuring a fair and smooth championship.
