JAMMU : A Mega free medical camp was organized by Diva International Foundation in coordination with People’s Hut Foundation and in collaboration with J & K Police at DPL Jammu. The medical camp was formally inaugurated by ADGP Jammu Zone Shri Anand Jain (IPS) along with DIG Jammu-Kathua-Samba Range Sh. Shiv Kumar Sharma (IPS) in the presence of Chairman and CEO Diva International Foundation S. Amardeep Singh Sasan and Dr. Rohit Koul Director and CEO People’s Hut Foundation.The camp was organized to provide comprehensive health check-up and medical facilities to police officers/officials and their families. The medical facilities which were provided in the camp include doctors and specialists from different renowned Hospitals and Govt departments.The participating hospitals and labs were Centre for Sight Jammu,Global Diagnostic Lab, Ujala Cygnus, JK Medicity,Directorate of Health Services Jammu and Directorate of Ayush J&K.
The free health camp namely “Mobile Health Clinic Program”offered a variety of services, including medical check-ups by expert medical teams ,general outpatient services (OPD), blood pressure ,diabetes screenings,eye examinations and laboratory tests. Specialist doctors from various fields, including ophthalmology, psychiatry, dentistry, orthopaedics, gynaecology, general medicine and oncology provided their services at the camp. In the medical camp the free medicines were also provided to the patients. The totals of about 379 patients were provided free medical consultation and treatment in the medical camp.
