JAMMU: In a ceremony marked by both simplicity and significance, the All India Conference of Intellectuals (AICOI) continued its 46th Annual Celebration by honoring exceptional intellectuals and social activists from across India. The event recognized Kunwarani Ritu Singh, Vice-Chairperson of DPS Jammu, for her outstanding contributions, hampioning social causes and setting an example of leadership rooted in compassion and cultural pride.
The ceremony was guided by the esteemed AICOI executive body, including National President Hon’ble Lt. Gen. K.M. Seth, Former Governor of Chhattisgarh; National Patron Justice Rajesh Tandon (Retd.); National Secretary General Prakash Nidhi Sharma, Advocate at the Supreme Court of India, Ms. Anushri, CO-Convener and National Secretary Advocate Abhay Nidhi Sharma. The award presentation was conducted by Dr. Nitan Sharma, President of AICOI J&K, and was supported by distinguished executive members: Advocate Kapil Sharma, Founder of Elite Law Institute; Advocate Sanjeev Sharma, renowned Educationist; and Advocate Uma Kapahi, a committed Pro-Bono Lawyer and Social Activist.
The ceremony featured a compelling discussion on empowering marginalized communities and fostering an inclusive understanding of social challenges. Kunwarani Ritu Singh delivered an inspiring address, highlighting the vital role of intellectuals and educators in advancing societal progress. She encouraged the younger generation to engage in nation-building, uphold the rule of law, and work towards creating a more equitable and just society.
Dr. Nitan Sharma remarked that this year’s event not only celebrated individual achievements but also promoted meaningful dialogue on broader societal issues, emphasizing the need for collective action and commitment.
