Awareness and Education Programme on Drug-Addiction and Substance Abuse at Bishnah

BISHNAH : Nations Development Association (NDA), affiliated with My Bharat and NYKS under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, successfully organized an Awareness and Education Programme on Drug-Addiction and Substance Abuse at SIRAS School, Bishnah. The program aimed to raise awareness and educate the youth about the harmful effects of drug addiction and substance abuse.

The event was graced by esteemed guests including the Chief Guest, Former MLA Bishnah Ashwani Kumar Sharma, who emphasized the importance of youth empowerment and the role of education in combating substance abuse. Former MLA Bishnah Ashwani Kumar Sharma highlighted the need for more such initiatives to ensure the well-being of the younger generation.

Irshad Hussain Rather JKPS, the Guest of Honour and SP Headquarters Jammu, also spoke at the event. He stressed the critical role of law enforcement in curbing drug trafficking and the importance of awareness programs to help students understand the dangers of addiction. His address focused on the community’s collective responsibility to address this growing issue.

Yogesh Jandial, Administrator of SIRAS School, commended the efforts of Sushil Singh Charak, Founder cum General Secretary of Nations Development Association (NDA), for his unwavering commitment to social work. He praised Charak’s leadership in organizing such impactful programs and supporting the youth of the region.

Sushil Singh Charak, who led the event, expressed his dedication to social welfare and his belief in the power of education to bring about meaningful change. He highlighted the significance of engaging the youth in awareness campaigns and promoting a healthy lifestyle.

The program featured engaging talks, presentations, and interactive sessions aimed at educating the students on the dangers of drug addiction and substance abuse. It was a successful step toward fostering a drug-free environment in the region and promoting the well-being of young minds.
