Handwara, March 29, 2025: The Bar Association Handwara has elected its new executive body, ushering in a new phase of leadership for the association. The election process, supervised by Election Commissioner Advocate Tanveer Yaseen Bhat, was conducted smoothly and transparently. With all candidates running unopposed, the executive body was elected without contest, signifying broad consensus among the members.
The newly elected office bearers are Advocate Khursheed Ahmad Khan as President, Advocate Tahir Rashid War as Vice President, Advocate Mir Imran as General Secretary, Advocate Mudasir Ahsan as Joint Secretary, and Advocate Parviz Ahmad Dar as Treasurer.
Following the election, an oath-taking ceremony was held at TRC Handwara, attended by over 70 advocates. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from members of the legal fraternity, reaffirming their commitment to the association’s objectives.
