Bharatiya Janata Party Samba Commemorates Constitution Day

RAMGARH: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Samba observed Constitution Day today, marking the adoption of India’s Constitution on 26th November 1949. The event underscored the fundamental principles of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity, which form the cornerstone of the Indian Constitution.

A key feature of the observance was a rally organized by students from various schools in Ramgarh. The rally, which began at Tehsil Office Chowk and culminated at Rishi Farms, celebrated the values enshrined in the Constitution and promoted awareness about citizens’ rights and responsibilities. The students carried colorful posters and placards, and delivered thought-provoking speeches on the significance of democracy, equality, and justice. The rally not only paid tribute to the Constitution but also emphasized the vital role of youth in building an inclusive and progressive future for the community.

The event was also a moment to honor Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the principal architect of the Indian Constitution, highlighting his visionary leadership in ensuring equal rights for all citizens, particularly for marginalized communities. The celebration underscored the importance of civic engagement in strengthening democracy and fostering a just society.

The event was organized by Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, MLA Ramgarh, and BJP General Secretary, with the participation of several key leaders, including Amar Singh, BJP District President Samba; Surjit Singh Slathia, MLA Samba; Chander Parkash Ganga, MLA Vijaypur; Asha Rani, DDC Rajpura; Shilpa Dubey, DDC Vijaypur; Sarbjit Singh Johal, DDC Ramgarh B; Anita Chaudhary, DDC Ramgarh C; Former Chairman BDC Radhay Shyam; Ramesh Chander, DDC Samba; District General Secretary Amit Dubey; and Mandal Pardhan Shiv Kumar Chaudhary.

In his address, Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal praised Dr. Ambedkar’s monumental contributions to the creation of the Indian Constitution, particularly his vision of ensuring equal rights and social justice for all citizens. Dr. Manyal urged the community to reflect on the enduring relevance of the Constitution and to work collectively towards strengthening democratic values for a more inclusive and equitable society.

The event witnessed active participation from local leaders, citizens, and students, underscoring the importance of unity, inclusivity, and democratic values in the progress of the nation.
