KUPWARA: In a remarkable inversion of the traditional paradigm, our venerable teachers on the eve of Teachers’ day, eschewed the conventional protocol of receiving gifts, instead opting to bestow gifts upon their students. This poignant gesture serves as a testament to the selfless dedication, unwavering commitment, and unrelenting passion of our educators, who are dedicating their lives to the pursuit of pedagogical excellence.
Today’s festivities, held on the eve of Teachers’ Day were dignified by the presence of esteemed Chief Education Officer, Kupwara, Abdul Majeed Dar, whose erudite insights, visionary leadership, and sagacious guidance have been instrumental in shaping the educational landscape of our district. Principal BHSS HATMULLA Mohd Iqbal Shah, presided over the ceremony with his characteristic sagacity fostering an atmosphere of joy and camaraderie. Both the officers delivered eloquent and effusive addresses, highlighting the pivotal role of teachers in shaping the minds of future generations, the challenges they face in their noble pursuit, and the imperative need for a paradigmatic shift in our approach to education. Select students from our school also shared their perspectives, demonstrating a depth of understanding, eloquence, and articulateness that belied their years.
The programme also featured the unveiling of urdu critique titled, “NAYI TANKEED”, authored by the illustrious teacher of the institutio, Dr. Mohd Abdullah Shah. This seminal work promises to enrich the literary canon, inspire a new generation of scholars, and provide a nuanced understanding of the complexities and intricacies of the human experience.
