KASHMIR: This day, the “Triple Centurions” remember IC-35159K Col RS Chauhan, SM (Posthumous) 21 RR (GUARDS), made the supreme sacrifice while displaying conspicuous gallantry in the highest traditions of the Indian Army while combating terrorists on 21 Aug 2000 in Handwara, Jammu & Kashmir. An epitome of fearlessness, his supreme sacrifice inspires the “Triple Centurions” to uphold the values of valour and sacrifice in the Service of the Nation.
