Desh Nari Ratna Awards 2025 to Honour Indian Women Icons in Jammu, J&K

JAMMU: The Nations Development Association (NDA) has announced the launch of the Desh Nari Ratna Awards 2025, a prestigious national-level initiative aimed at recognising and honouring outstanding Indian women achievers across the country. The awards ceremony will be held in November 2025 at Jammu, Jammu & Kashmir, with the exact date and venue to be announced shortly.

The initiative has been conceptualised under the leadership of Sushil Singh Charak, Founder-cum-Chief Functionary of NDA, and seeks to highlight the achievements of women who have excelled in Sports, Education, Social Service, and Entrepreneurship.

The awards will be presented in four categories: Rani Lakshmibai Ratna :- Sports Bravery & Excellence.Saraswati Shiksha Ratna :- Education & Knowledge Leadership. Ahilyabai Holkar Seva Ratna :- Social Service & Activism.Gargi Udyamita Ratna :- Business & Entrepreneurship

A Core Committee comprising Sushil Singh Charak, Shivani Sharma, Manpreet Kour, Sakshi Pandey, and Kalpna Sudan will oversee the national-level event. Along with the awardees, volunteers contributing to the success of the programme will also be felicitated with Certificates of Working in recognition of their service.

Speaking about the initiative, Mr. Charak said, “The Desh Nari Ratna Awards are not just an honour but a movement to celebrate the strength, resilience, and leadership of Indian women. This platform will inspire future generations while recognising the big achievers and qualified contributors who have made a difference to the nation.”
