Her journey in the field of nursing began in Kashmir, where she completed her foundational studies at Government Women’s College, Anantnag. Demonstrating an early commitment to the profession, Dr. Moza pursued a diploma in Nursing from the Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), Srinagar.
Recognizing the importance of higher education, Dr. Moza furthered her qualifications with a B.Sc. Nursing Post Basic from the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGI), Chandigarh, affiliated with Punjab University. This academic pursuit laid the groundwork for her subsequent specialization in nursing administration, which she achieved through a General Diploma in Nursing Administration (GDNA) from Bangalore. One of her notable positions was as Principal at the Government Nursing College in Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, which she helped establish in 2017. Under her leadership, the college saw remarkable growth and received prestigious accolades, including awards for youth initiatives against drug abuse and HIV prevention from the J&K AIDS Control Society. Her exceptional leadership was further recognized in 2020 when she was honored with the Best Principal Award by Principal Padma Shri Padma Sachdev Government PG College For Women, Jammu. Additionally, her role as the Nodal Officer for the Red Ribbon Club under the J&K AIDS Control Society showcased her dedication to community health and advocacy.
