RAMGARH : Under the esteemed leadership of Dr. Vidhi Bhatial, Chief Medical Officer, Samba, and the diligent supervision of Dr. Lakhwinder Singh, Block Medical Officer, Ramgarh, District Samba, an interactive PowerPoint presentation and lecture demonstration was organized at The Pathseekers International School, Ramgarh as part of the Tobacco-Free Youth Awareness Campaign 3.0.
The program witnessed enthusiastic participation from both students and staff, who engaged actively throughout the session. The lecture and demonstration were conducted by Mr. Harminder Pal Singh, Senior Dental Technician and Block Nodal Officer of COTPA, Block Ramgarh.
During the session, Mr. Singh elaborated on various sections of the COTPA Act 2003 (Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products Act), emphasizing the vital role of youth in ensuring the implementation of these provisions in both letter and spirit. He also highlighted the harmful effects of tobacco use and the collective responsibility of society in building a healthier, tobacco-free generation.
Mr. Singh extended his gratitude to the School Management, Principal Dr. Manpreet Kaur, and the dedicated staff of the institution for their cooperation and efforts in successfully organizing this awareness event.
The program concluded with a powerful message encouraging every student to become an ambassador for a Tobacco-Free Future.
