GDC Bani organizes pledge for ethical voting as part of SVEEP plan

KATHUA : In a continued effort to promote ethical voting practices ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections, Government Degree College Bani, under the leadership of AC SVEEP Nodal Officer Prof. Naseeb Kumar Bhagat, organized a pledge ceremony in collaboration with the Electoral Literacy Club (ELC) of GDC Bani.

The event saw active participation from both staff members and students, who took a solemn pledge to uphold the principles of ethical voting. Prof. Bhagat addressed the gathering, emphasizing the vital role of voting in a democracy. He urged students to not only participate in the forthcoming elections but also to encourage other eligible voters to do the same, ensuring a robust democratic process.

Principal GDC Bani, Dr. Manohar Lal highlighted the crucial role and responsibility of citizens in strengthening the democratic framework of the nation.

This initiative is part of a District SVEEP plan to raise awareness in all assembly segments about the importance of ethical voting and to encourage widespread participation in the democratic process.
