SRINAGAR : Political Youth Leader Maroof Khan has strongly urged the government to take immediate action on key issues affecting thousands of workers in the region. In his latest statement, Khan emphasized the urgent need to increase the salaries of Special Police Officers (SPOs) and expedite the regularization of casual and daily wagers who have been serving under uncertain conditions for years.
Khan pointed out that while the elected government has full authority over administrative matters—except law and order—it must prioritize public welfare. He stressed that workers who dedicate their lives to public service deserve financial stability and job security.
