In a significant move towards promoting women’s self-reliance, MLA Ramgarh and Former Minister for Health and Medical Education, J&K, Dr Devinder Kumar Manyal, underscored the importance of skill-based programmes during a function at Village Diani. He highlighted that initiatives like these provide women with meaningful livelihood opportunities and help strengthen economic independence at the grassroots.
The programme was organized by the Nations Development Association (NDA) Registered with NITI Aayog and affiliated with MY Bharat under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports Government of India in collaboration with Anmol Health Care at Village Diani, AC Ramgarh, District Samba. As part of the initiative, Anmol Health Care contributed 10 sewing machines to support skill development and employment generation for women in the area.
Addressing the gathering, Dr Manyal encouraged women to make the most of such initiatives, stressing that these programmes could pave the way for establishing centralized platforms for sustainable employment and skill enhancement.
Gopal Singh Jasrotia, Proprietor Anmol Health Care, praised the ongoing social work of Sushil Singh Charak and assured continued support for similar welfare programmes.
Sushil Singh Charak, Chief Functionary of Nations Development Association, expressed gratitude to Anmol Health Care and reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to women empowerment and upliftment of underprivileged communities through skill-based initiatives.
The programme saw active participation from local residents, particularly women, who lauded the initiative and expressed optimism about future opportunities for self-employment and financial independence.
