Rajesh Sharma assumes charge as Deputy Commissioner Samba

SAMBA: Rajesh Sharma, who formerly served as the Chairman of the J&K Service Selection Board, has taken charge as the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Samba here today.

Upon assuming office, Rajesh Sharma conducted an extensive tour of the Mini Secretariat Complex.

During his visit, he inspected the functioning of several key departments, including the Planning Department, Revenue Department, and the Election Cell. He emphasized the need for enhanced public service delivery and greater transparency in all governmental operations.

DC Rajesh Sharma also oversaw the First Level Checking (FLC) of M3 EVMs (Electronic Voting Machines) and VVPATs (Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trails) in preparation for the upcoming 2024 Assembly Elections
