JAMMU: In a corps group meeting,presided over by Col SS Pathania,Chief convenor and President of Sainik Sainik Samaj party discussed various aspects of election manifesto in a very constructive and detailed manner .
Considering the past rule of Kasmir centric politics of state and union of India,which was discriminating,full of suppression and exploitation of people of Jammu region, combined with spread of militancy in Jammu region,all members supported the demand of a separate state of Jammu , having an area of 26000 square kilometres.Kashmir region having an area of approximately 15000 square kilometres can be administered as a UT.This will ensure a better administration, infrastructure development, welfare and prosperity of both the regions.Other issues mainly pertaining to Jammu region and 9its people were also discussed thread bear in great details and finalised.
Strategy of participation in assembly elections, municipality and panchayat elections too was discussed giving emphasis on selection of suitable candidates and nomination of office bearers at district level.Pathania ,also expressed concern over the pre poll alliance between NC and Congress and urged people of Jammu to discard both the parties as they have proved their credentials of being anti nationals,anti people and divisive parties on communal basis.He also urged politically incline people, mainly youth and nari shakti to join the party and contest elections from its platform.
A paradigm shift is essential in prevalent politics,which can only be brought by the involvement and support of people.Meeting was attended by Rajiv luthra, Rajeswar Jamwal, Suraj Singh,Varun Jamwal, Sunil Dutt,Vikas Sharma , Virender Slathia and other members of the corps group.
