SAINIK SAMAJ PARTY REITERATES DEMAND OF SEPERATE UT FOR JAMMU IN WAKE OF ELECTION RESULTS

JAMMU :  In a meeting of core group,Sainik Samaj Party,JKUT reiterated its demand for separate UT for Jammu.Col SS Pathania,Chief Convenor and President of the party said that results of assembly election and clean sweep by NC and Congress alliance has amply relived that power centre lies in Kashmir and will continue to be so in next 100 years.Hindu Chief minister and shifting of power centre to Jammu region will never get translated on ground and is like ‘Mungeri Lal ke Hasin Sapne ‘.Over reach , devlopment and appeasement of BJP has failed to influence the mind of Kashmiri voters ,who openly voted against BJP not only in Kashmir region, but also in districts ,south of Pir Panchal and other parts of Jammu region.Pathania said that,Tally of 29 seats by BJP is unlikely to take a great jump and will remain in a range of 28 to 32 seats in future, which is not adequate to form a government.People of Jammu region have been discriminated , suppressed, subjugated and exploited by Kashmiri politicians for more than 7 decades and will continue to do so forever,if justice is not delivered by making jammu a separate UT.Central Government,at some stage has to restore the statehood, which will further complicate the things and result in greater divide and animosity between two regions .Seprate UT for Jammu and Kashmir will also result in greater development, employment, good governance and welfare of people,as area of 42000 square kilometres cannot be managed as a UT.Pathania also urged people of Jammu region to come forward, demand a separate UT to ensure our next generations do not suffer.Meeting was attended by Rajive luthra,Sumit Sharma, Sanjeev Luthra ,Varun Jamwal,Hardip Singh and others.
