JAMMU: Continuing its drive against drug peddlers Under operation Sanjeevani Jammu Police arrested two drug peddlers namely Chander Sekhar Jha S/0 Ayodha Parsad R/0 51 C Road Salkia Haora West Bengal with 01 Kg of Ganja like substance and Zahidullah S/0 Salimullah R/0 Burma Myanmar, A/P Gujjar Mohalla Bagh e Bahu with 01 Kg of Ganja like substance from them. A total of 02 Kg Ganja like substance was recovered from them.
The team headed by SHO Police Station Bahu Fort Shassisted by Incharge Police Post Narwal PSI Sanjeev Sharma under the supervision of SDPO East and SP South, Jammu zone apprehended the drug peddler in Narwal area and recovered Ganja like substance from them.
In this regard, a case FIR No. 190/2024 U/S 8/20/29 NDPS ACT has been registered at Police Station Bahu Fort and investigation of the case taken up.
Jammu Police enjoined upon all citizens of Jammu to be aware of drug menace and report any incident to jammu Police.The identity of person informing regarding this menace will not be disclosed to anyone.
