Yogi Adityanath Addresses Rally in Ramgarh : Highlights BJP’s Achievements and Vision for Jammu & Kashmir

JAMMU : In a significant rally held today, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Yogi Adityanath voiced strong support for Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, the BJP candidate for the newly formed Ramgarh Assembly Constituency. This rally is part of the ongoing campaign for the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections, with the final phase set for October 1, and results to be declared on October 8.

During his address, Yogi Adityanath underscored the improved conditions for Hindu pilgrims, specifically referencing the Amarnath Yatra, which now attracts devotees who chant “Bam Bam Bole” in celebration of their faith. He praised the safety and security that has been restored under the Modi government, contrasting it with the challenges faced in the past.

Yogi urged voters to support Dr. Manyal, describing him as a well-educated and qualified candidate who would effectively represent the interests of the Ramgarh constituency. “Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal embodies the values and commitment of the BJP to serve the people,” he stated.

Shifting focus to national issues, Yogi criticized Pakistan’s governance, stating that the country is struggling with rising inflation and civil unrest. He noted that while flour prices have surged to Rs 500 per kilogram in Pakistan, Prime Minister Modi has ensured that 80 crore people in India receive free ration. “Pakistan is sinking while India is progressing,” he declared, highlighting the government’s initiatives for healthcare, including free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh.

Yogi Adityanath also recognized the opening of the Kartarpur Corridor, crediting Modi for fostering better relations with neighboring countries while prioritizing national interests. He remarked, “Today, Jammu and Kashmir is known as the tourism capital, not the terrorism capital,” reiterating a vision shared by other BJP leaders.

Critically, he pointed fingers at opposition parties, particularly the JKNC, PDP, and Congress, accusing them of ruining Jammu and Kashmir during their governance. He claimed that these parties had historically denied voting rights to refugees from West Pakistan and Valmikis, while enjoying a life of privilege abroad. “These parties supported terrorism in 1990 and now seek to undermine our progress,” Yogi asserted.

In a direct challenge to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Yogi asked whether he supports the National Conference’s alleged agenda of reinstating the past, characterized by division and strife. He emphasized that under the BJP, the national flag proudly flies across the region, signifying unity and strength.

The rally concluded with a call to action for the electorate, urging them to vote for Dr. Manyal and ensure a continued positive trajectory for Jammu and Kashmir. “Your vote is your voice. Choose progress and development over division and despair,” Yogi urged.

As the final phase of elections approaches, the BJP remains committed to securing a mandate that reflects the aspirations and dreams of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
