JAMMU .In a significant development Ved Gandotra extended his support to Sainik Samaj Party,JKUT and its two candidates Sanjeev Luthra and Sumit Sharma contesting assembly elections from Jammu East and West constituencies.He said that a paradigm shift has been necessitated due to the existing standards of politics, which is causing great damage to our nation and its people.Poltics in the era of 60 and 70 was aimed at serving the nation in a selfless manner, expecting nothing in return for the service rendered and was based on the concept of nation first.However , a constant degradation has set in and was quite visible, when in previous lok sabha 43 percent of MPs had serious criminal cases against them.Nationlist and patriotic people are being ignored and parties are choosing the candidates who are having money, muscles, influence and can influence the media.He says,he appreciates the nationalist ideology of SSP and their vision of serving JKUT and its people from a political platform.Manifesto of 14 points issue by the party is simply and vigorously addresses the issues of people and armed forces very emphatically.Col SS Pathania, President Sainik Samaj Party expressed his gratitude to Ved Gandotra for his support and assured him that SSP will remain committed towards serving JKUT and its people.
