ASSEMBLY ELECTIONS 2024: DEO Kupwara conducts inspection of DECR, RO office Kupwara

Kupwara, Sep 5: The District Election Officer (DEO) Kupwara, Ms. Ayushi Sudan (IAS) today conducted inspection of District Election Control Room (DECR)Kupwara and RO’s Office of 3-Kupwara.
The aim of the inspection was to evaluate the smooth functioning of DECR.
During the inspection, DEO assessed the operations of DECR and inspected status of static surveillance teams via CCTV surveillance and FSTs(flying Squid teams) via GPS tracking system.
DEO took appraisal of the strong room .
The DEO also visited RO office 3- Kupwara and meticulously inspected its functioning. She checked the documentation process for making nominations for 3rd phase of elections, checklists for candidates and facilitation counter for candidates.
Ms. Ayushi Sudan emphasized on facilitating fair and transparent elections, reaffirming the administration’s dedication to ensuring a smooth and impartial electoral process in all the six assembly constituencies of Kupwara district.
