NDA Discusses Youth Empowerment and Employment Initiatives with University of Kashmir Officials

SRINAGAR, June 9 : Nations Development Association (NDA), a registered voluntary organization with NITI Aayog and MY Bharat, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India, continues its efforts towards youth empowerment, skill development, and employment generation across Jammu and Kashmir.

In this regard, NDA Chief Functionary Sushil Singh Charak met Prof. Nazir Ahmad Dar, Director, Centre for Career Counselling, Coaching and Placement, University of Kashmir. The meeting focused on career guidance, youth engagement, skill enhancement, and opportunities for students and young professionals.

During the discussion, emphasis was laid on creating platforms that connect youth with educational, professional, and developmental opportunities. Various issues related to employability, entrepreneurship, and leadership development were also deliberated upon.

A key agenda of the meeting was an upcoming programme being organized by Desh Bhagat University in collaboration with Nations Development Association (NDA), scheduled to be held in Kashmir in July 2026. The event aims to bring together students, academicians, professionals, and youth leaders to discuss innovation, education, career opportunities, and nation-building.

Speaking on the occasion, Sushil Singh Charak said that NDA is committed to supporting the aspirations of the youth and is planning to organize a Mega Job Fair in Kashmir to provide employment opportunities and direct interaction with leading recruiters and institutions. He emphasized that the talented youth of Kashmir should be provided greater exposure, career guidance, and employment avenues to help them achieve their full potential.

The meeting was also attended by Dr. Umar Mufeed and other distinguished participants, who shared valuable suggestions for strengthening youth-centric initiatives in the region.
