RAMGARH : The blacktopping work of the Bandral to Gho Rakwalan road was kick-started today with an estimated project cost of ₹25 lakh.
The work was initiated by Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, MLA Ramgarh and Former Minister for Health & Medical Education, Jammu & Kashmir, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen road infrastructure and improve connectivity in rural areas.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal stated that the road had suffered extensive damage due to recent floods, causing inconvenience and safety concerns for local residents. He emphasized that the present work has been taken up on priority to restore and upgrade the flood-affected stretch, ensuring durable and all-weather connectivity.
He further said that quality road infrastructure is vital for socio-economic development, facilitating smooth transportation, access to essential services, and overall growth of rural areas. He reaffirmed his commitment to prioritizing development works that directly benefit the people of the constituency.
Local residents welcomed the initiative and expressed hope that the completion of the project would significantly ease daily commuting and enhance overall connectivity in the region.
Among those present on the occasion were Prem Paul Choudhary,Harvinder Singh, Nancy Choudhary, Kamlesh Kumari, Baljeet Kour along with other local representatives and residents.
