JAMMU : A meeting of the Rogi Kalyan Samiti (RKS) of Government Hospital, Gandhinagar, Jammu was convened on 3rd January, 2026 under the chairmanship of MLA Bahu, Shri Vikram Randhawa.
The meeting was attended by members of the Rogi Kalyan Samiti along with senior officers and staff of Government Hospital, Gandhinagar. The Medical Superintendent, Dr. Narinder Singh Bhatial, presented a comprehensive overview of the work accomplished in the newly shifted hospital building and expressed appreciation to the Hon’ble MLA for his timely support in ensuring a smooth and hassle-free relocation of the hospital.

Addressing the gathering, the MLA Shri Vikram Randhawa lauded the efforts of the hospital administration and staff for maintaining uninterrupted healthcare services during the transition period. He also conveyed his gratitude to the Hon’ble Health Minister and the Secretary, Health Department, Government of Jammu & Kashmir, for their proactive and timely intervention in shifting the hospital from the unsafe old structure to the newly constructed building without delay.
Following the meeting, the MLA undertook an extensive tour of the newly shifted hospital premises and reviewed the infrastructure, patient care facilities, and overall arrangements. He interacted with hospital officials and emphasized the importance of maintaining high standards of cleanliness, efficiency, and patient-centric healthcare services.
The meeting was attended by officers from the AYUSH Department, Public Works Department (PWD), and Public Health Engineering Department (PHE), along with Dr. Sanjeev Gupta, Senior Consultant (Paediatrics),Dr. Poonam Maniyal, Dr. Vandana Dogra, ADMO, Programme Officer (ICDS),Shri Rahul Kumar, Ex-Counsellor, Mr. Ankit, members of the Rogi Kalyan Samiti, and senior officers and staff of Government Hospital, Gandhinagar.
The meeting concluded with a collective resolve to further strengthen healthcare delivery systems and enhance patient amenities at Government Hospital, Gandhinagar, Jammu through coordinated and sustained efforts of the Rogi Kalyan Samiti.
