LPG Panic Booking Has Come Down
The Centre on Friday said that Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) cylinders panic booking has come dawn in the recent days while the supply of commercial cylinders has also been ramped up. Addressing a presser, Petroleum and Natural Gas ministry joint secretary Sujata Sharma informed that there has been a reduction in panic booking adding 11,300 tonnes of commercial LPG has been supplied to consumers in the last one week. Consumers had resorted to panic booking of LPG cylinders both domestic and commercial fearing that the cooking gas may not be available or face shortage due to the war in the middle east as supplies of natural gas and oil have been impacted. However, the government have ensured citizens repeatedly that though energy supply is a concern in these times but so far no dry out has been reported.
