MRINMAY MEHTA OF KC PUBLIC SCHOOL CONFERRED WITH THE PRESTIGIOUS ROUND SQUARE KING CONSTANTINE AWARD

JAMMU : Mrinmay Mehta, a class 12 student at KC Public School has been conferred with the most sought-after Round Square King Constantine International Award for the year 2025-26. She received it in a simple yet impressive function organised in the school today morning. This award is bestowed upon students from Round Square schools who exemplify an extraordinary commitment to the ideals of the Round Square, namely, Internationalism, Democracy, Environmentalism, Adventure, Leadership, and Service.

As the sole Round Square member institution in the UT of J&K, KCPS remains dedicated to its ethos as a happy and value-creating sanctuary for learning. Mrinmay’s progression from local initiatives to international acclaim serves as a benchmark for the school’s mission to cultivate globally-conscious leaders. Her engagement with the Round Square began with participation in the regional Round Square conference hosted by Punjab Public School Nabha in 2019. During the height of COVID-19 pandemic, her resolve remained unshaken as she demonstrated profound leadership initiatives by leading charity programmes and attending online national and international summits, ensuring that the institution’s commitment to service remained uninterrupted. Her leadership portfolio expanded significantly following her participation in the Round Square International Conference hosted by Brookhouse School, Nairobi, Kenya. This international exposure culminated in her appointment as the President of the Round Square International Sports Collaboration programme of the school in which capacity she successfully navigated the complexities of global event management. In addition to these leadership roles, she is deeply devoted to numerous students-led activities related to environmental stewardship and community service.

Chairman Raju Chowdhary, Managing Director Arti Chowdhary, Principal AK Mishra and Vice Principal Jaskirat Sekhon congratulated Mrinmay for her exemplary devotion to the ideals of the Round Square and wished her greater success in her endeavours as a future leader.
