MY Bharat Awareness Programme Organised to Strengthen Youth Participation

JAMMU, July 22, 2026: In a significant initiative to promote youth engagement and nation-building, a MY Bharat Awareness Programme was organised under the supervision of the Nitin Hangloo, Director, Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat), J&K, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India at Village Kandral, Panchayat Nanga, Ramgarh.
The awareness meeting was organised by Gurdial Rana, Managing Director, Sorisso Pizza, Ramgarh.The programme brought together local youth and community members to spread awareness about the MY Bharat (Mera Yuva Bharat) initiative and encourage greater participation in youth-led nation-building activities.
During the session, Sushil Singh Charak Chief Functionary, Nations Development Association (NDA) informed the participants that MY Bharat (Mera Yuva Bharat) is an initiative of the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India, dedicated to empowering the youth of the country. He explained the objectives of the programme and highlighted the benefits of the official MY Bharat portal (mybharat.gov.in), including opportunities for volunteering, leadership development, skill enhancement, community service, training programmes, and participation in various Government of India initiatives. He encouraged all eligible youth to register on the portal and actively contribute towards nation-building.
Addressing the gathering,  Charak emphasized that the youth are the driving force behind India’s progress and have a vital role in shaping the nation’s future. He urged every eligible young person to become an active member of MY Bharat and contribute towards the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047 through responsible citizenship, innovation, and community service.
Present on the occasion were Ravi Kumar, Chander Kumar, Tilak Raj, Sanju Mehra, Udhay Kumar, Ravi Dass, and Manish Mehra.
The programme concluded with a collective resolve to expand awareness about MY Bharat and encourage greater youth participation in nation-building initiatives across Jammu & Kashmir.
