SRINAGAR : MY Bharat Srinagar successfully organized a vibrant and engaging International Yoga Day celebration at the picturesque Nehru Park, Dal Lake. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from more than 70 active students, making it a grand success.
The program was conducted in the presence of District Youth Officer (DYO) Srinagar, Mr. Gopal Namdeo, whose encouragement added great value to the event. The occasion was graced by Chief Guest Advocate Saba Afreen, along with Special Guest Basirat. Students from Candid Higher Secondary School, Nowgam Srinagar, also actively participated in the celebration.
The event featured a series of activities aimed at promoting physical and mental well-being. It began with a yoga session at Nehru Park, where participants performed various asanas in a serene environment. This was followed by interactive games to engage the youth and promote teamwork.

A unique highlight of the event was the “Shikara Yoga” session on Dal Lake, which provided a refreshing and memorable experience for all participants. The combination of yoga and the natural beauty of Dal Lake made the event truly special.
At the conclusion of the program, certificates of participation were distributed to all attendees in recognition of their involvement and enthusiasm.
This event marks the first niche initiative by Youth Club NextGen Yoga Academy Youth Club, reflecting its commitment to promoting health, wellness, and youth engagement in the region.
