SRINAGAR : District Rajouri was felicitated during the 3 day Chintan Shivir of the Department of Youth Affairs, Govt of India held at the prestigious Sher-i-Kashmir International Conference Centre (SKICC) for achieving the highest participation in Budget Quest 2026 across the nation, marking a significant milestone in youth engagement.
The award was received by Nitin Hangloo Deputy Director Rajouri on behalf of the District Administration Rajouri, acknowledging the collective efforts in mobilizing youth participation. It is pertinent to mention that Rajouri District topped the Nation with highest number of Youth Participation in Viksit Bharat Budget Quest Quiz 2026.
The recognition was conferred by Smt Raksha Nikhil Khadse, who appreciated the consistent efforts made to engage youth and promote financial literacy and civic awareness through initiatives like Budget Quest 2026.
Nitin Hangloo, while accepting the honour, credited the success to the coordinated efforts of the District Administration led by Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Sharma IAS and reaffirmed the district’s commitment towards strengthening youth participation and fostering responsible citizenship. He further mentioned the efforts of the BGSB University, Colleges, Institutions and Youth Clubs in mobilising Youth Participation.
