Samba: January 20 : Samba Police has successfully traced out a missing person and reunited him with family whose missing report was lodged at Police Station Vijaypur.
On 18.01.2026, a written complaint was lodged at Polce Station Vijaypur by one person namely Prabjot Singh S/o Pritpal Singh R/o Bharak tehsil Pouni district Reasi, presently residing near Gurdwara Sahib Ramgarh road Vijaypur, stating therein that his brother had gone missing from home. All efforts were made out by the family members but the whereabouts of the missing person could not be ascertained.
Acting on the complaint, a missing report vide DD No. 20 dated 18.01.2026 was registered at Police Station Vijaypur and search started to trace out the said missing person.
After sustained efforts, a Police team of Police Station Vijaypur has succeeded in tracing out the said missing person and handed over to his family member after completing all the legal formalities.
The family members expressed their gratitude to Samba Police for their timely action in reuniting the missing person with his family. Accordingly, the missing report has been closed.
